I have a small issue again...... I'm working on creating some custom brushes with the brush creator, but they don't actualy save in the folders that I save their varients in. Where would I find the XML info for the new brushes I saved? I would love to take them over to my other PC, but can;t seem to find the actual data files.

Thanks ahead of time.

Sorry for posting again but I think I found some important information in the Painter Help files regarding my problem.

When Corel Painter starts, it references a folder (called “Brushes”) in the user folder. Any customizations made to brushes are saved to this folder and are referenced by Corel Painter in place of the original default brushes and settings that are stored in the application folder. The user’s brush library is built by recalling the information stored in the user folder and supplementing it with the noncustomized brushes and settings stored in the application folder.

I'm on my Admin account yet I still can't find this Brushes in the user folder.

Haha, this is like having a conversation with myself. I just wanted to tell everyone the good news and say that I have located my missing Brush Varients. The folders were Hidden, all this dummy had to do was to make them visable.

I didn't know those folders could be made invisible. I thought only system folders/files could be made invisible?

Neither did I but they were hidden for some reason by the system. The entire Applications folder was invisable to me till I changed the folder view options. But it's all good now, I'm hard at work on busting out some cool brushes , now that I know where they are stored :)
