Sachform Technologies announces the release of HDRIbase Vol. 1

February 4, 2003, Sensbachtal, Germany – Sachform Technologies (www.sachform.de) is pleased to announce HDRIbase Vol. 1.
HDRIbase Vol. 1 is a collection of High-Res texture maps in HDRI (High Dynamic Range Image) format.
It enables the user to do a very quick and realistic ligthing setup for 3D-scenes. No more trouble and hours of tweaking to get a realistic lighting, just open a HDRI and render it with your preferred application (the application must be able to deal with the .hdr- format). Most 3D-applications are able to deal with HDRIs natively or with the assistance of a plugin.
The HDRIbase Vol. 1 texture CD-ROM is available in 3 different versions.

HDIbase (HDR-version, 2 CDs):- background information about HDR and OpenEXR- 40 lighting situations as HDR-format in 3000x1500 pixels (color/monochrome ->80 .hdr-images) as zipped archives (You will need an unzip-program, e.g. winzip)- all images also included as fullres .jpgs compressed with 100%
HDIbase (EXR-version, 1 CD):- background information about HDR and OpenEXR- 40 lighting situations as OpenEXR-format in 3000x1500 pixels (color/monochrome ->80 .exr-images) as zipped archives (You will need an unzip-program, e.g. winzip)- all images also included as fullres .jpgs compressed with 100%
