Hi guys.

I am modelling a house of my own creation for which I need to produce a camera flythrough of some of the rooms inside.

I want to know what are the basic dimensions I should make my two story property, in order to allow the camera to move around inside properly and for the render to look as realistic in scale as possible.

My first time doing this so any help would be great.

I wouldn't think the dimensions of the house would matter as much as you can scale the FPS of the animation (kind of like they do while filming scale models).

However not doing it to actual human scale would be downright rediculous.

You can view some free floor plans (not to copy or anything, but to get an idea of the sizes)

Just by clicking some random links I was able to come across a floor plan which gave sizes of rooms and overall dimensions for a vacation home (ugly house but to each his own).

and off topic

Can you please change your avatar? That's awfully dangerous to have on a free public forum open to all ages and people at work.

OK I will change the Avator later today. Don't want to offend anyone.
