View Full Version : blur newly spawned particles

After a bunch of particles hit a deflcto and particled are spawned I want to blur the resulting geometry but nothing else. Can anyone help?

totally easy...

1. Create the collision test
2. Create a new event for the particles (just a display to start with) and connect that event to the collision test
3. Right click the new event (where it says event01 or whatever event it is) and click properties.
4. Select the proper blur option ... image blur is usually faster....

Then it should only be blurring the collision particles, and not the particles before they hit.

It works , how ever there's a problem. The blur multiplier is constraint to 1.0 ... and that doesn't really produce all the blur that i need for the particles. So...any thoughts how to get around that?

hmmm... wierd... my multiplier can go way above 1...

if it's the only thing being blurred, try changing the duration in the max renderer rollout.
