well its good really, but IMO the action feels a bit slow, the white rocket smoke doesn't quite fit with the scene
cheers

Thx, we are not 100% satisfied with the resault, but considering the amount of time we had (two weeks) to take all the shots, creat the modelles, animate, render and composite we compromised some details. We still in a learning stage, students, coming works will be much better.

good job

as aliismail said the timing could be a bit more crisp.
also the 3D could get more reality by better colorcorrection.
try to ad one color layer (solid) over the whole movie (foreground and background)
giving it a little tint (blue or red).
this makes the overall colorsheme look better.
you can also ad some grain (just slighty) over the whole composition to "bake" it together better.

also I was no sure what the white strings on the wings of the airplanes in the first camera shot are (black and white - retro)

Good tips guys, thx.
The whole idea is to differentiate the old technique they used to make movies in the early 20th century and what you can do now with the new digital technique. We had our boundaries like the white strings on the wings was demanded to have, and the animation could not be longer than 15 seconds etc..We will consider your constructive critique, thanx again.

I like the transforming jet and the opening shot. But the color correction still need work and the ending is too fast. By the way, consider this all done in 2 weeks. I'm sure it'll looks great soon!
