Hi everybody,

This is my first post in a very long time. Been very busy to finally get some character into my characters. And finally i got to the point i got something which doesn't end up in the trash.

This spraycan will be for an animation where the can jumps towards the viewer and tries to spray the screen in a color with his spraycap. Unfortunaly the cap doesn't work so he scraps his throath and nose, with a lot of disguisting sound, and spits with his mouth the screen full of paint so that the complete scene disappears. All this will happen in a 3d grafiti style setting.

It will be my first character animation if i'm going to finish it quick enough (you know the drill i guess :)

I'd like to get some c&c's from you before i start modelling the facial expressions.

Tia, gr. Dennis

Hmm... I'm not sure if you're aware of this or not, but this idea isn't very original. It seems very similar to something a guy called 3D Mike did a few years ago:

no i didn't know this until now. Damn i thought i got something original :(

thx for noticing me!

anyway the style i got in mind is different from the total metal look he got. But his can models are great!

man, now i got a dillema and it's absolutely not a Nelly Kelly one.
What should i do, finish the (not original anymore) spraycan or start over with something new.

What would you do?

I say finish it, but move as far away from the other guy his style as possible

thx for the tip!

i've been doing grafiti 10 years ago so i have some idea's of how i want it to look. It will be a non realistic style (almost toon) with phat outlines :)

I guess i'm going to finish it my way and don't get frustrated by the idea that is has been done allready. Being creative is sometimes hard ;)
