In this first post I want to describe my personal approach to contest.
In my rough 'first' storyboard there are some characters, some city views and space views that I want to realize with personal (but common) technics of modelling.
I pay my attention firstly to story and final view

cheers to all

Nice, straightforward concept involving some key visuals from the story. I especially like the idea of framing the whole sequence with Patricia and the proposed lighting for her. Looks good.

3d previsualization of the earth for first rough action footage

realized with 3 sphere
one for glow
one for clouds
one for earth and sea
in this way I can rotate the sphere clouds for a wind effects

Hi MediaCyborg!!! nice to see another italian in this challenge!!! :D

to obtain a realistic effect you could attenuate the ambient light in the shadow zone of the earth and atmospheric ring too.

Forgive me my bad english.

Interesting idea. Perhaps some more detailed storyboards so we can get a better idea what your vision is? I'm quite curious.
