Well I have sat and thought. Thought and sat. So here we go. Haven't got hold of the book so will stick to the provided text (I think the book will be too distracting for me so keeping it simple) Going for Alexandra - should keep me busy. A very simple sketch of the 4KM structures and an initial layout. Have to renew my artistic license :)

After playing with original image. Tried changing the viewers position so as to look up to the 4Km structures. Put together this simple 3d to get an idea of the angle I'm after.

Slight tweek to the perspective test. Has quite a giddy effect. The buildings (well cubes) around the edge give it a nice frame. Maybe too vertical on the perspective. Comments greatly received.

First try at the 4Km tower. Here is my original doodle and a silhouette of the model. For an idea of scale I added a simple model of the Sears tower.

Had a rethink on the towers and the picture aspect. A quick placement of my tower model in-situ was quite pleasing. So here it is. Also included is my doodling of the tower top before pushing the polygons.
