I try to post a new version in high res of the matte. I post some request to moderator and I don't have answers. So i try, myself, to post bigger version...

C'est magnifique.. Comment arrives-tu à un réalisme pareil ? j'imagine les années d'experience, parceque la perso j'avais jamasi vu un truc aussi fin, aussi proche de la réalité. L'éclairage est aussi a tomber par terre, respect absolu

Merci pour les compliments mais je crois que tu fais fausse route. J'ai pris pour base de départ des photos. Ensuite avec la technique du paint j'ai recréé mes ombres et comblé les parties manquantes. Mais le détail en lui même et le motif sont fournis par les photos. Le paint est très utile lorsque tu n'as pas de samples qui correspondent mais il est assez identifiable c'est pourquoi il faut l'utiliser avec parcimonie ou bien en avoir une très grande maîtrise.

That's really great. Seeing the detail on the stone really helps the atmoshphere of it.
I can almost see the spaceship sticking out around the corner of that pillar now :p

I see that u 've uploaded my image but the problem is that is an older version, the true is desaturate and has got many changes. I remember that i've send another version after... so it's not too bad, it's ok man ! :bounce: :)

Anyone know where its posible to find tutorials on how to make mat paintings.. cause i would love to learn to do stuff alike that.. not that it'll ever be that good..:bounce:
