First of all, sorry for once again starting a discussiong about eye shading. I tried to find answers for my problems from everywhere but with no results. I'm so sick 'n tired of fighting with mental ray, so this is kinda my last hope:shrug:
So I want to create nice looking eyes with 3ds max and mental ray. The cornea shader is a mental ray material, and a dielectric material has been applied to the surface and the photon. Theres a HDR image in the environment for reflections. For the eyewhite I used a SSS fast skin matrial, which has the same HDRI as the cornea. Then I applied both materials to a blend material and masked the cornea with cradient ramp. Here's what it looks like:

It sucks. Thease are the problems I can't get over:
-The cornea is all black and the iris doesn't show.
-There's no SSS effect on the eyewhite
-There's no HDRI reflections on the eywhite
-The HDRI reflections on the cornea are too strong.
It would so cool if you guys could tell me what's going wrong. Thanks for any help!
