I was wandering if there is any way of creating macros with in painter (Not Scripts) What I basically need is a button that can make simple processes simpler for me. I tent to do stuff like
(Select All) then (Copy) then (Paste In Place). I was wondering if I can some how create a button to do all of these in one click for me, with out having to resort to scripts.

BTW: I'm hard at work on a nice Hi-Tech brush kit. I'll make it available to you guys soon as I'm done with it.

Hi Terro,

The options I can think of are:

Script (you'd need to test the script to see if it worked in all situations)

Keyboard shortcuts

Custom Palette with menu command buttons.

Thanks Jin,

I am currently using a cutom pallet where I added new commands for certain button tasks. It works better then goin throu the menu each time, but I would still like to improe it somehow. I'll do some research on it, maybe make it a plug in.

Couldn't you record a script and then drag it to a custom palette? That seems like it would give you one-click macros...
