View Full Version : Possible bug , help needed

Hi Guys ,

Can someone try this in the latest release of wings and report it in the official wings boards , i cant post there for some reason.

create a sphere

select top three rows of vertexes

right click on rotate and select some other vertex as rotate reference.

rotate a bit and exit tool

Now clear selection.

When i do that , the vertices i rotated disappear from the screen. I can still select them but i cant see them.

Does that happen to anyone else?

Well... I can't see the points any time... I can select them but can't see em... no red dots... I had reported this somewhere before, to which someone had suggested to try out the new version, also to dial up the preferences... to which I dialed them up to 7 and nada... I mean selection still works and all, and I will survive hehe, but ya... it would be nice to see those points... this is with .06c as well as .07 ... hmmm

great app though just the same... I am having a ton of fun, perhaps too much so... needs more sleep...haha

i see the points all the time , but as soon as i do the rotate operation as specified they disappear :(

but yeah , get some sleep :)

It has been reported many, many times. It's a video card thing, mine does it too. I think they just suggest downloading new drivers.

If all else fails, you get used to it.

oh , cant do much about it than , my current drivers work nice with all the rest :(

Just out of curiosity, what type of video card do you have?

Quadro 4 900 Xgl , running the maya certified drivers.

gidgit you really should get a newer vid card
might wait for the new nvidia to come out so prices will be even lower

I hear that
when I started winging I had a 233 with 32mb and a pos vid card
I then upgraded the vid card then the procs and mem then the vid card again
now im running 600duron with 384 mb and a 64mb vid
and its still a bit slow for almost every app I use
