View Full Version : Problem with the Size of Flakes in MR's CarPaint shader

Hi everybody,

So I've got a scene with a car, let's say the main body and two doors. After applying CarPaint shader I notice that the size of the Flakes on the main body is perfect and is of expectable nature while on the doors they are too big and chunky. I deleted history on both objects and freezed their transformations. Both the car body and the doors have correct UVs on'em. What's the problem? Thanks in advance for any help!

I experienced this before, but it was largely due to the different objects in the scene being of different scales. I had one object that was scaled 10x smaller and another built at 1x to fit it. Needless to say, that caused the size of the flakes to be much smaller on the scaled model rather than the 1x model.

However, this probably isn't the solution to your problem as you've stated that you've already freezed the transformations, so by right, they should all be at the same scale.
