In Japan the show was known as Gatchaman "Science Ninja Team Gatchaman"
and a few years back..... there was a OVA newish series from Japan, Ive seen it at best buy and suncoast, so check there if you wanna see that version ;).

Sweetttttt....one of my favorites when I was a kid. I loved this show. Can't wait to see what they do with this especially if they incorporate some 3D cells shading kinda like the stuff they are doing with the Ghost In The Shell stuff.

Ouch, that's circa 1979 - I feel old now. Embarrassing as it may seem, I remember begging my mother to make me one of those bird capes the characters wear. Hmm, now that I think of it, weren't they called GeForce? I always liked the guy with the car that had a minigun.

I've got to say! I cannot wait!!! I loved this show
and yes I'm showing my age also.
I look forward to seeing Zoltar jetison from his burning spaceship
and fly back to that far planet... in a small small ship whilst
laughing maniacally!.
I liked the fat guy in the owl suit. why? don't remember.
