View Full Version : Adding New Bones to Character Assembly breaks linking

After creating a character assembly of bones and then adding a NEW bone chain to the assembly, the linking between the new bone's is broken. If if I manually link the bones back together, they are removed from the assembly. Is there a way around this, or something I might be doing to cause it that I shouldn't. Try it, you'll see.

Try this: select your character node and use the "Add" button on the modifier panel to add the new bones to the character before linking them. After the bones are included in the character assembly they should be able to safely be parented into the heirarchy.
