Thank you chiiph :) . You are right about the background but believe me, I have tried atleast a ten other backgrounds and many many techniqus to make it look bright. Nothing is working out. So I gave up. This is the first time I am using Vray so I had no idea what to do.

You could try playing with the output values of the textures used for the outdoor background. That will definately make them brighter.

Cheers :D

Aparna you need to use higher sample values, there are splotches on the ceiling. Also, the directlight on the floor on the left hand side is triangular in shape, whereas the opening is rectangular...something wierd going on there.

For the background, you can simply use a gradient sky if you don't have a proper image for the background. Making the floor a bit reflective will look better. Nice start with vray!

Looks Good. But The Camera Angle Make The Scale Of Everything Look Odd. Too Much Ceiling Makes The Scene Look Like A Toy House. Maybe Bringing Down The Camera A Notch Might Fix That. Good Job.

the reason y theres is a weird triangle shape is becuz that part is actually elevated i think. But with the camera angle we cant see that creating the illusion that it is a flat floor. Correct me if im wrong Bask

onlykiran : Thank you Kiran :)

gringer : Output values? If you don't mind can you explain briefly where to change it?

Nehak : Thank you Nehak, I will make the reflective. tito8008 is right. There is an elevation there.

guitarmunkee : I will try a different camera angle. Thank you :)

tarekmax n tito8008 : Thank you

good going with Vray, nice warm feeling, but surely u have to play with the sample values.
and also try adding AO pass to it, it'll bring the realism to your render.
