Title: lighthousecar
Name: Stanislav Sichinawa
Country: Russia
Software: CorelDRAW, Painter, Photoshop

The work is made with Combined technics, programs used: CorelDraw, Painter, Photoshop.
The car is vectorpainted in coreldraw without using special effect such as lens, meshfill, etc.
Postproduction of the car for example reflections, highlights, smoothing was made in painter and photoshop.
The photo of the sea was too small (about 800x600px), so I used it as background layer and I had to paint the most part
of the image of the sea in Painter. The final composing and fx were made in PhotoShop. Final resolution - 3543х2720.
You can see all the stages of the work as well at http://www.cgportfolio.ru/database/showthread.php?t=463&page=2&pp=10

hey, the picture is nice!

interesting Idea!

I like the Spyker very much.

Well, I can see a couple of problems in your pic.
First , the Scene Light. The Car is bright , but it's dark night, right? The car should be dark.
Second the Rain. The Car should e wet (more glossy reflections).
The horizont looks very staight, like a line, how a about some big Waves to break the line up?
The Rain drops look very unrealistic too.

the picture isn't realistic, but it has a nice message... :)

Light is not real absolutely, i know this, but this image is a advertisment in the car magazine for carlightning company. With real light after printing you'll see only black square and nothing else.
Some waterdrops you can see on the fullsize image.

I tried to add more perspective to the image, and leave horizont clear, maybe is not right decision. Another problem - highlight on the sea, and a transparency of water.

Ok, there are some issues, but I can see all the hard work you have put into.
Nice work. Now learn from your mistakes and you will deliver a great piece!
