Hi everybody,

I buyed a DELL Precision M90 few month ago and i'm experiencing "problems" with the Quadro2500M.
I essentially use 3DsMax8 and i noticed that the viewport display is too slow (object rotation, zoom...) when defined on OpenGL , Maxtreme8 or software
(actual test scene with "only" 60000 polys)
Only D3D provide a better but small acceleration. Is it normal for that kind of graphic card?
The actual NVidia driver is the 8.4.2.9
I found a new driver on NVidia website (ForceWare 91.36 Quadro release) but the 2500M is almost the only one not listed as a compatible card!
I nevertheless tried but it is not recognized.

Does someone has a solution for me?:)

Thanks for your help !

;o-)

Try posting in the MAX section, but I will tell you right now, that MAX is not a fast program. The new version (9) is supposed to be much better, but overall, it is not a speed demon. I have always had much faster viewport speed with D3D and/or MAXtreme drivers - I don't ever bother with OGL.
