I found the w3d exporter for director, but it's only for 8.5, is there one for 8.0 that i can't find?

the .w3d file format was introduced with Director 8.5 so I am pretty sure you won't be able to find one for Director 8.0

w3d was purely for 3d content only. So only 8.5+ can utilise it.
