Hi,

Hopefully someone can help me, I've managed to destroy the latest revision of a model I'm working on holding all my UV's.

Is it going to be posible to copy those UV's to the previous revision of the model, They should be exactly the same minus the UV's.

Thanks in advance.

Mark.

I think if the point order is the same then you can copy the uv's, otherwise you'll probably have to redo the mapping. You can speed it up a bit by putting the old uv map in the background layer so you know where all the points should go.

Thank you for the quick reply Dave, the point order will be the same.

Do you know the procedure to copy UV's between the two ?

If you load your current version as a morph to the one with good UVs then you will have the updated shape with UVs. You can't use copy and paste UVs because that only works if you select the polys in the same order.

Thank you whattawa, that worked a treat and saved me a good couple of hours.
