Try all the tutes in the reactor book first. That will help you to no end.:D
Quick tute (i'm limited to time [at work], so this may be hashed, sorry!):
Easiest way to do it is to grab a nice planey-plane with a reasonable amount of faces, whack a clothCollection on it, grab some rings (most likely torus primitive),add those rings to a rigidbody collection and attach every second or third vertex of the plane to the rings with attachTo rigidbody, then get those rings around another rigidbody cylinder.
I suggest heavily that you go through all the reactor manual tutes first.
Here's a quick diagram:

I'm a newbie to Reactor (to max actually:rolleyes: ) , i didn't even know you could attach a vertex to a rigid body . i wanted a double sided curtain..but this will help alot.
Thank you very much erilaz .
