View Full Version : Thinking Particles Collision detection.

I have a Pstorm emitter that emits balls, I don't want the balls cross through eachother.
There is a PRepuls&Bounce TPdynamic but that is for colliding (2) different emitters, also the predefined 'TP Particle Collision' in the object browser requires 2 (different) particle groups.

If I pass the same emitter to the PRepuls&Bounce (see attached image) it won't work.
Also the PDeflector works only for collision detection with objects 'outside' the emitter.

How can I prevent my thinking particles from colliding with eachother?
In the manual I can't find it, or am I overlooking something.

You have to use PPass AB instead of PPass. Check the TP Particle Collision preset for an example.

thanks! PPass AB is working, only at the start of the emitter they are crossing eachother.
