View Full Version : Image sequence to high res Mpeg2?

I'm looking for an editing suite that is capable of taking a high-res targa sequence and outputting it as an equally high-res (1920x1080, 24MBps) MPEG2 video. I'm currently using a really terrible piece of software called MPEGRepair to do the job, but am really getting pretty tired of it crashing partially through encoding.

Love to hear what everyone's suggestions are.

because of AE is crashing while MPG2 HD encoding i bought TMPGEnc Xpress 4.02xx. it does a pretty good job in encoding. but only main profile @ high level (and high 1440) will be supported. audio up to stereo, no AC3. im always satisfied with the HD encodings but had some problems with DVD compatibiltys of encoded SD material. so i do not recommend it for doing that.
