hi my cg friends and specialists!

i need your know how again to solve a problem i have with my current car design project!


the case: i need a full working animatable headlight for my car to simulate headlights and turnlights and so on....i tried spots,parallel spots,or luminating materials....but all these things didn`t satisfied me!

i want to create headlights like the BMW 5 Series (lighted rings and in the middle of this the headlight!)

i need an advise how to create realistc headlights....maybe with the real reflection body in this headlight!


i hope you understand what i mean....
and help me....for your time and work you spend on this!

PS: would be nice if ya can show me a sample file or a screenshot!

Have you tired using the inverse volumetric setting on your test lights?



For rings of light you could use light clipping or maybe a modified lens effect :)
