Model its very bad. Render not qualitative.
If render studio, why in reflections is seen tree?

Mohit, nice modeling, i tried modeling a mini cooper once but never completed it and i knw how hard it is to model a car.so i think u did a fantastic job. ok, now time for some comments you should do away with the tree reflections,i don't think u have textured the rims & the disk brakes, chrome material on the rims & the disk would look gr8 i think.& try to set up a cycloram for rendering your car. hope to see you kick some serious **s.

Good modeling and materials, but render is too dark, and reflections are weird. anyway is a good work

hey I did the same tutorial but my car didn't turn out as nice... Think something's wrong with my mental ray settings.

Well first of all I also have done this tutorial and it is great! one thing you have to keep in mind that it is a starting point to getting a photorealistic car let me give you a tip for making those rims like crome consider using this shader and these settings you wont regret it! i will be of some help such as other people have helped me out before dgs shader Diffuse to a 0 value Glossy to the color of the crome you want uusally like .5 is good and Specular to .2, shiny to either 45 or leave it at its default of 50 play with it, just remember one thing though all together DGS it cannot pass 1.0 if it does it is not physically accurate! usually crome works well with an enviroment if you had metal in a black room it wouldnt look like metal it would look flat but since you are using a hdr with low saturation it will do it justice, another thing is consider using mi_car paint it simulates real car paint, theres is so much more but if you need more help or question send me a message and i will be glad to help peace heres a view of my car using the DT tutorial! Keep up the good work and dont let people get you down!http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y218/crazzyjo/almost_there_2Hours22-2.jpg

It looks ok, only I'd suggest you try to render you're car in a better enviorment and view of the car. And follow the instructions of ceetwo.

It will sure maken the render of you're car mutch better.

Keep up the work!!!

You mentioned low poly, could you post a wireframe? It may not look good for a high poly car, but if it's truely low poly then it looks good to me!

Just remember to have some fun with it! No need to get concerned about ultra realism, just as long as you like the result! :)

And that's my 2˘. :D

Hi,

I run a post production company in London and am always looking for new talent to freelance on projects we are often consulted upon. In the last year we have launched our own CGi department and have a small team producing highly realistic imagery. With such a small team we can't coup with the inquires that we receive therefore I need to find trusted operators. The imagery we work are between 6,000-12,000 pixels and are all photo realistic. So I'm looking for operators who have a keen eye for perspective, understand lighting, textures and materials.

I would be interested in seeing your portfolio/website. I would also like to know how you operate, do you have your own systems? Could you please also give me a description of what programmes and renders you use.

We currently are pitching on three big projects and I would like to run some test images by a freelancer as a test? Let me know if you are interested.

I hope to hear from you soon,
Regards
Glen
