View Full Version : Hexadecimal Color Value in C4D?

Photoshop CS2 has this very interesting method of giving each color hexadecimal value. For instance, for pure white 255, 255, 255 the hexadecimal value is ffffff.

This great time saver for entering color quickly rather than the r, g, b values. Is this feature in C4D anywheres?

Nope. The closest that I can get is setting the RGB range to 0..255. No hexadecimal entry with the Color element or the system Color chooser. It would be useful on occasion - especially if you are working from web values which are usually given in hexadecimal (e.g. Dreamweaver).

Here a very old coffee plugin of mine that allows this and also shows you a lot more color spaces.
