View Full Version : Cloth t-shirt - armpit seam doesn't connect (pics included)

Hi everyone. I've been going through the Maya help for cloth, and have successfully created a tank-top style shirt. Now I'm working on a T-shirt, and I'm having trouble getting the short sleeves to connect to the main, center part of the shirt.

Here's how it currently looks:

Could it be that I need another curve in the armpit? Right now, the sleeve seam is created by one curve, so the sleeve panel shares that curve with the main shirt panel:

I've been following along in the help file, but either I missed something or I've done something in the wrong order. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

if you seam, you'll always have to seam two edges together, so you must have two curves to seam. or else, your three faces must define ONE SINGLE garment) ...
