Very cool, my dad still insists that Dobby looked as good as Gollum, lol. Cool interview tho, thanks.

Dobby was likely not done by MPC. I am not sure who he WAS done by though =)

I really liked the effects in HP. Sure, some of the stuff could have been done better, but all in all it was an improvement on the first movie (especially the quidditch match). The CG humans looked far more lifelike in this outing, and not as rubbery and exaggerated as in the first movie.

I've heard that Dobby was done by ILM. There are some early test shots of Dobby on Bay Raitts forum. I still think Gollum was a bit better;)

Yeah ILM did Dobby, not Moving Picture company.

I'm fairly sure that the same guy animated Dobby that animated the crab-like creature in Episode 2.
