Hi everybody!
I'm a frequent cgtalk reader but I haven't posted much yet. Here's my newest animation: Luther the Lizard! I know the rendering isn't the best, so don't be too harsh. Concerning the animation, tear it apart!!!
If you want to see some full res stills, feel free to visit my webpage: www.mbanimation.com (http://www.mbanimation.com/)

I hope I get lots of feedback!

wow, thats so great! i played it over 40 times . my daughter always wanted to watch it once more. the lipsynchronisation is so good. and the overall movement looks so natural. i really like it. the only problem i have is that i want more:)

Anyone interested in a making-of video??

yes, me. specially like to know how you get it synchronized.

hey! , first of all.. Great animation.. really.. sometimes i'm wondering what the eyes are doing but hey.... it's a lizzard :)

uhm.. and i have also one comment; the resolution of your normal/bump map is a lot more blurry on the stomache than on his head.. i know this part of the body does'nt have mutch detail, but its kinda blurr.. (more than it's supposed to?)
you see a line on his body on where you did put more effort...

but still.. its a great animation ;) hahahaha..

well there's nothing really special about my lipsynching. I generally set the facial keys at the exact point where I hear them (for a section of about 100 frames), and then offset them all about 3 keys to the left. After that I do alot of polishing and speak the text in my mind so that it fits the sound in the end.

Hey Deenspeen,
yeah the stomach area uses less UV space and I wanted his stomach scales to look softer than the scales on his back. Besides, I suck at UV unwrapping :D
