View Full Version : Is my dongle toast?

After not using XSI for a month or so, I recently fired it up only to find that I was getting a "no interactive license" and "cannot open IBU port" type message. After doing some searching I tried uninstalling zone alarm, re-installing spm and the dongle drivers. I also tried updating the dongle driver to 4.0. No luck. I can manually install the driver, but I get a "windows cannot start the device" message. Is it dead? I have Adv. educational, so I don't even know if Softimage will replace a dead dongle for me :(

they are there for that.
as for what it is, it's probably just the dongle clock out of sync.
