3DMan16 02-02-2003, 11:41 PM when i deleted a part off my model, it left the remaining uppermost face, well gone, how can i delete a part off and not loose the face, its hard to explain..but like its just not tehre, i can see into my model sorta

I'm not sure I understand,
but you sould flip the normals
if your un edit mesh, select the faces you want the "delete"
go down down the option of edirmesh, in surface proprity
and click flip in the normal section ...

I think I know what you mean.:hmm:
Do you mean that when you delete part of the model, you get holes in your mesh? And you want to delete parts and not leave holes?
For example deleting an arm and not leaving a hole where the shoulder is.
If so, there are two main ways of fixing this. One is to use the CAP HOLES modifier (Which is quick and dirty: Personally, I don't like it!). The other way is to go to your "hole" and patch it using create poly.
But yeah, a picture would help immensely.
