View Full Version : Free Transform Problem

I'm trying to set up some reference images for modeling a head. I saw some training on it and I was trying to follow along. He starts off by creating a series of Line Shapes using the profile image first of areas like the nose, eyes, mouth, chin, etc. After that, he uses Free Transform to move the Front image to match the Chin area. After that, he moves the "pivot point" in the Free Tranform Tool stating that "I then move the pivot point to the chin area so that I can scale the image while leaving that match up intact" or something along those lines. I try and do the same, but when I move the pivot point, it scales based on the center anyways. I'm wondering if there's a lock option for the pivot or a hotkey that I'm supposed to press or something along those lines. Thank you in advance.

use shift to constrain the transform proportion when you drag a handle and it will work :)
