Hi there, here's another WIP i'm doing while busy also with the Elizabeth Tudor one...I kind of switch between the two. This is going to be a monochrome painting, based on a photograph of a statue situated in an italian cemetery. I've only just put in some rough colors to get the feel of it, I will detail and most likely texture later on.

This is turning out realy nice. It still needs some work on the dress, but it still is a WIP ;)
What seems odd to me, is that lightning source seems to come from the left, but in the background the lightning source is on the right. But i guess there is a lightning source on the left that we just cant see then :scream:
Keep it up!

Looks great so far, no crits at this stage. Look forward to seeing how it turns out!

It's a really interesting piece so far...looks kinda magical even with the way the bottom part of the statue is warped.
