:surprised Boys do not have pretty eyes?! Sniff...
Waters, correct the corners of her mouth - they need to go more inside and lift them a bit...
I think the eyes need to be closer to each other
And somehow the face downwards her eyes appears a bit flat or are my eyes tricking me?
A good start though!

Thanks for the quick replies. I will work on the corners of 'her' mouth and the flatness below the eyes. The final composition I have in mind wont get too close to her face, so I'm not that worried about perfection, but I would like to try and get this face looking good, my sub-division modeling needs some work. This is all done in maya by the way. Anyone worked with Maya fur? I put some time into trying to get her very short hair looking more realistic, but what you see is the best I have gotten so far. If I cant get the hair looking better within maya, then I may play around with the head texture to fake some of the details.
Next thing on my list of things to do is to model her some googles to protect against the sand, and a cloak with a hood. I think the background will be a matte painting, and not modeled.
