View Full Version : Dwarven Hero
This one is a Drwarven Hero. I began drawing from the head down, line by line. I had no previsualized idea about it, the only thing I knew, I want a dwarven warrior.
For the first time I planned to draw till the beard. It turned out to be good, and I decided to do the rest too. This happened spontaneously, without any drafting or composition. This is also it's weak point. My brother gave me advices, and I made some corrections.
Now, I put this up to try out the forum & be a part of the community. And of course for feedback.

Cool Idea and beautiful realistic lighting/shading. My only crit is he seems a bit tall for a dwarf ;)
Thank for all!
I am very happy.
Maybe you have right, mattregnier.
But i think it is subjective.:bounce:
Here's the dwarf from Behind. Although it's not satisfying for me, I plan to make some more studies.
-The action on the paper illustrates the hero in the heat of combat.
-The helmet has a drape on the back, let this not don't disturb you.
By chance I too drew a dwarf of my own a few days ago, and as with pretty much all my drawings I (like you) didn't know exactly what it should look like. Check it out: "character in the making" on 2D art a few days ago.
I must admit though that your dwarf here is really cool, and in my eyes a few notches better than mine; the style with which you draw is very intresting and i would very much like to see some more of your work...
Keep it up Taka!

Its nice, but a bit too tall for a dwarf. At least for my tastes...
You have right. Not only you think so.
yes, it is too weak to torso.
Because it a hero, a mighty hero. In real it is dmall.
