I just started art school this week at a school that just opened up in Providence RI. Hardly anyone knows about it, so I'm helping to spread the word. It's a school that teaches the 19th Century French style of drawing and painting.

If you're interested check out the webpage www.danalevin.com (http://www.danalevin.com).

Lucky you. She has a sweet art heritage. Florence Academy of Art is awesome.

Thanks Queenie. I've also started a blog to chart my progress. If anyone is interested you can visit it on my blogspot page (http://jphatelier.blogspot.com/).

Queenie, are you still posting new references for the 15min sketchathon? I havn't seen any new references in awhile.

Joey,

I think it's great that you're starting at an atelier, and it's great that you're keeping a blog as well! :) I look forward to following it.

Cheers,

I have been busier than a one legged man in a kickboxing contest. Just trying to stay sane. But thank god for Cgtalkers like the 15 minute sketchathon gang and Tizianoadmirer, indeed the sketchathon is kicking fine. Click my anatomy link for some statue references if you've caught up with the sketchathon refs.

Is anyone who reads this post actually from Providence? Or is everyone who reads this in a distant country like Austrailia?
