Oke i just had to enter this challenge even though i really have no time for it :)

Oke my first step was to get myself a copy of the book,(hopefully i wil get it within 2 weeks from now).

in the meantime i wil gather as much research materials as possible from the internet.

This was a fast sketch during a foodbreak on school.

trying to get that industrial look without going to sci fi.

stil waiting for my ordered copy of the book.

Oke i have made up my mind, and i will be making Alexandria(im going for BIG)

since this is one of the city's that i find really interesting.

Well this is it.
My insane id for the city.

i will try to make Minas Tirith look like a small village compare the city i have in mind ^^

nice concept here. Like the way it's build up.
it reminds me at a combination between final fantasy and that city from lord of the rings.

i think it definetly needs some gravity-challenging architecture.

Some insane architecture you got planned there - really nice! As mentioned some upside down pieces could add to the whole but you definitely got a strong start!

Yea, it definately has a feel of Lord of the Rings and Mont Saint-Michel to it, really liking the idea can't wait to see it modelled! :eek::thumbsup:

It seems my sketch is clear enough since i really wanted to go for the Minas Tirith/Final Fantasy feeling.

Now to start making my planning and maybe get some more concept art out for spaceships and such things (it's a maybe since i will be very busy at school this week)
