krazyrokr 10-05-2006, 05:44 AM Basically im just trying to export an image/psd file from zbrush with an alpha channel instead of the grey background. Theres prolly a simple solution to this but it totally eludes me at the moment. Thanks.

Umm, no. He's saving his final render, not editing in Projection Master.
I'm not at my ZBrush computer to check, but it feels like you're just missing a checkbox.
make sure your in Draw mode and Mrgb is active
goto tool MRGBZgrabber
set the MRGBZgrabber in the center of the canvas and drag outwards.
now save the texture in the texture pallete
you will be promp to save material, chose Yes
import to photoshop
go to the channels pallete you will see a black image Alpha 1 now select it
goto 1 image 2 adjustments 3 auto contrast

you dont even have to use the projection master to do this.
the Fastest way is to chose the ZApp Link
then chose shaded layer + mask shaded layer
once in photo shop hide the background layer
now you have just the image with no grey background.
you can get ZApp Link here
