Let's try. I've done this about one month ago, and I thought it may be good enough to post it here

Only some traffic is missing. I wanted to do this kind of pic after seeing Episode 2 opening. I used several cloud photos I took from plane.

Any comments? What would you do to make it look better?

looks pretty good but everything seems overexposed.

The foreground building on the left seems to be actually sitting on the clouds, not just going beneath them. But what would I know, I have never see a building sticking out of the clouds.

Interesting concept. I would defentily fix the lighting, it needs more contrast at the least.

I agree with stephen2002, more contrast.
And to get some depth in the picture you could place a building quite close to the camera. Maybee with transparant windows, revealing what is inside them... (maybee a scene from the movie)?
And more landing platfoms for the trafic. It would be nice if some of the houses had a slightly diffrent shade of white to show that they were not build on the same date.
Maybee some variations later on, showing sunset with diffrent colours... bah! what do I know. It's a a great pic anyhow.

Congrats, great Couscant pic!

What´s mostly bothering me are the too evenly spreaded across the image. And the materials could variate a bit more. Maybe some metal plates like a shiny metal dome or some other-colored materials(light golden or sth. like that). It would also give a lot to the mood if the color of the main light differs from the fill-light - warmer contrast colder colors.

But as I sad, it´s already pretty good. So these are just some things that came to my mind as there will be all the time things to improve in a scene.

Looks amazing!!!
I like the overexposure...it gives it a great atmosphere! Like you're really high in the sky... To much contrast would ruin it in my opinion.

Some buildings do give me the feeling that they're build on top of the clouds. So maybe a bit more transparant clouds, so you can see just through a little.

Maybe you should add that cool cruiser from the movie, with cool reflections and stuff.

Keep it up Dr Jones!

Sebastian.

Looks great and i agree with all the comments before me. But i like to add one. This part of the sky looks a bit odd.

yeah, the cloud shouldn't be more transparent where it's darker. This is just the shadowy part and should be as dense as the lit one.
