View Full Version : C4D Version 8......Shipping Costs For Free Update??

I am curious....did anyone else have to pay Maxon to have their version 8 update shipped to them? I purchased version 7 and was told I would receive the free version 8 update however after having not received it and contacting them about it they informed me I would indeed be receiving it but they needed my credit card number for shipping charges. Not really knowing any better I figured it wouldn't cost very much anyway so I complied. Shipping was $35! Has anyone else ran into this??

Yeah, I had to pay for my update too. It was only $12 tho.

I got my upgrade for free (here in Finland)! My distributor told me that they won't charge the shipping costs...good service I think!
