Hi all. I just bought Digital Lighting and Rendering, by Jeremy Birn. For those of you, like me, who are learning and still developing their 3D chops, this is a really excellent general book. It seems as though every page has a little bit of wisdom. The book isn't focused on any particular 3D package, although there seem to be more Maya screen shots than any other. Highly recommended.
