....Pee Tom, I will trying to incite for my friend; Pee nareds (Sup of sweeteye) entries The Challenge and I think that to help him by read some prolog and sample chapter...but Eon was written on 1985 . So some property on the scene is very very old such as ...Hoffman used Vedio, Word processor, memory in her work .....I'm not found some word look like--> computer, External Harddisk, memory card etc. I think that it 's hard to imagination for a big scene that show hi-technology  However, I hope in the last chapter that will have interesting something for making some work....

here is the composition and color theme as a guide line to start modeling work , it's about the huge flying space station to explore the stone before the migration of human begin , the focal point of image is the "gate" to the stone , which is the beginning of the whole story, c&c are welcome

2different type of explore ship that will board from platform ,

I like the design of the ships quite a bit. The only thing I'd change would be the glowing blue tori. They make the ships look too much like those in the Matrix. Aside from that, good work, and keep it up!

I like where you are going with this, my only comment is the lighting... it is too diffuse for an space shot, even with artificial lights it wouldn't be so diffuse, it would have more contrast too. Just MHO.

Hey Monsitj, great scene you have there.
In my personal opinion I think that there is a little bit too much light in the asteroid, which causes the all scene to be kind of "blended" with not much sense of deph.
Maybe if you dark some areas or increase the contrast of some lights.
Good luck mate.

nice work so far!

only think is that i still find the scene way too flat - mostly because there is way too much bounce and environment light then there is possible in space.
When that bright thing is the sun, the lighting creates a very strange effect.

the animation is a great start, but it only shows the spaceshit in 3d for the time it makes a turn. But i can imagine it would take a huge long time to render if you would render everything in 3d. But maybe with the time we still have it should be reasonable.

cheers

Cool entry! It would have been nice to see some more wip images of your progress, as your thread seems very lacking in that department. Nevertheless, good job!
