This is instead of the concept. Probably spent less then an hour on it. This gives general geometry value and lighting. I hope to have 2-3 more this tests in order to experement and finally nail down what I like. Any c&c is GREATLY appreciated

The more I do test the less I like the general layout. I originally wanted to do Alexandria or Sixth chamber, but now it seams like its taking me somewhere off topic

Guess this is going no where.
What do u guys think - am I still on topic? =)

Here we go. This is what Im going to stick with - the Sixth Chamber. This is finalized lighting and blocking for the entry Im gonna go with

Many things, many ways, many roads, ... what the police doing.
Seriously, Very nice modeling, it must be difficult to place all the object in the right place.
Great work.

Gunilla - Thanks alot
DaVee - Thanks! Actually, having done some concepts in 3d space before this one, I realized that after I put a road down, I have check that it does not intersect with anything else, lol. This one was a little easier that previous concepts though - less traffic =))

Here some more on modeling and lighting, The roads seams pretty much finished right now. So my take on this is the following - since the 6th chamber has this micro climate with running water and stuff, Im thinking of actually running water on those roads and have people use boats to travel through city. Now its time to take some modeling actions on architecture of bridges and buildings - the fun part.

Here are some more details. I think I now know where Im going with this finally. One thing for sure - the highway texture gotta go - I will replace it with something else - just had to do UV's on those things. Also the green glow is a bit to much for my taste. Besides that I think Im heading the right direction. What do you guys think

Agree about the green glow and the highway textures - not that they should go entirely, just be slightly different and slightly more subtle. Aside from that, the overall feel of the scene is definitely going in the right direction, very cool start

Very inspiring. Really interesting what's this thing is gonna turn into. Definatelly gonan watch this thread.
Great images, the interweaving of the roads gives it a great sense of depth, like an MC Escher drawing! I agree with JamesMK, the green glow and road textures are too strong. Good luck with the challenge!
