thanx im_for_real for the kick ass words!

and ya im in the process of coloring it right now, the only thing thats sorta holding me back from really going at it with the coloring is that i dont have a wacom tablet and i really want to give it a painterly type look, and i want to color this all with a tablet that i dont even have so i have to finish coloring it at skoo. but i did block out all the areas with flat color, im just waiting til i can work on it at skoo to give it shadows and highlights and wutnot....

but koo thanx for the kind words....:bounce:

but i can prolly show u the semi colored picture to see if u ppls agree with my choice of colors??? if anyone wants to see that???

i layed out all the flat color and a rough sky background...which will change.

Do you ppl agree with the color choice, and should i just have sky as the background or should i have more flowers and more follage???

That's a really cute image. The expressions on the faces are wonderful. I don't know if I would go with a background at all on this. It's a good character illustration and a background may distract. But, give it a shot ... you can always take it out if it doesn't look right.

I don't know about the skin color... looks a bit odd... probably will be much better when it's shaded though

It could use some more shadows and highlights. Right now the only thing that seems to have form and weight is the end of the turtle's nose. Everything else is just flat looking.
