Just a quick scribble just to get something going and explore a little, nothing real serious.
I wanted to get a dramatic perspective to emphasise the hugeness of the buildings and initially show part of the city on the upward slope of the opposite side of the chamber, I didn't really succeed in that, it probably would've worked in a bigger and more panoramic image though.

Nice sketch, I like the slightly tilted angle of the camera. While you're still in the doodling stage and talking about wanting more dramatic perspectives, you could also try setting the camera a bit lower, looking up more at the characters and buildings. (It can be a real bitch to draw, especially the characters, but it might be worth trying it! :) )
Good luck!

I'm not really sure how to explain because it sort of took shape without really have a plan except for that I wanted to sketch a city scape in a sort of cylindrical shape so it probably could be Alexandria as well as the Tistledown for now, maybe central city?
Still a lot of possibilities at the moment although I've been slacking way to much, have to make some choices and get this thing going!

brrrhmmm: thanks, err yeah doesn't really make sense hehe. Thanks for sorthing out what everyone is doing, very usefull, must've been a time consuming job.
Sacha: LOL yeah I don't know really, it just came out that way, didn't really notice it at first haha.
Mike: Thanks for the input. I still think the first idea is the strongest, atleast the way I have it pictured in my mind (of course it nevers turns out like that haha), but yeah it sure is worth trying.
nice sketch!! good luck with the final!! :)
