Hey everyone. I just saw this image, on DOF 3.0's page. It's a really cool effect, the material inside another, like there is a thin film over the red stuff.
What would be the best way to get this kind of effect in a shader? Some kind of layered displacement? Would love to hear your thoughts. Or maybe geometry inside a clear sphere (distorted)?
