Hey again-
Last night late I wanted to load up a game that needed DirectX 9. In the process I also updated the drivers for both of my video cards. My main card is a GeForce 2 Pro and my secondary monitor is an ATI xpert 128 (i'm running Win2K). Now when I go to start Maya it gives me the error:
"Driver Component sizes mis-match. Retry to keep going. Cancel to exit."
If i select "retry" it just keeps giving me the error. Does anyone know what generates this? Can I really not run DirectX 9? ..or is it a setting in the properties of my GeForce card?
I"m well aware that I could use a new video card and that is definitely first on my list, but I've been running Maya okay up until now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll keep checking back here, but in the mean time i'm going to go check out Nvidia and Microsoft's website. Thanks!

It actually turned out to be the new Nvidia driver. I reinstalled my last one and everything is working fine with Maya (even with Direct X 9. I still think I could probably use the new driver and just mess with some settings. (?)
