Artech Studios is looking for several 3D Game Artists for immediate hiring for work on next-gen games. Employment is on location, in Ottawa, Ont. Full-time, with access to benefits after three months.
Required skills:
• 3D Modelling experience
• Must demonstrate ability to model both hi and low poly
• Experience with texturing and normal mapping techniques
• Experience in a known modeling package (Maya/Max/XSI)
Nice to have:
• Strong traditional 2D character and/or layout design skills
• 2+ years experience as a modeler
• Experience with ZBrush and/or DeepPaint
• Real time 3D game experience
• Experience with character rigging
Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate that they can take a concept through to completion (Design->Model->Texture)
Art applicants REQUIRE a portfolio demonstrating your work, in addition to a resume.
• Your portfolio will ideally be electronic (via a website). Alternately, you may supply it on CD/DVD, or on VHS tape.
• Demo reels should not be more than 5 minutes in length.
• Please provide a credit list explaining what you did in your portfolio.
