Hi all,
This is my first WIP here and given a bit of time, should hopefully turn into my first finished piece to put up here.

I'd like your thoughts on the piece I'm working on at the moment, no title as yet but I'd be grateful in any input to what I have done already mainly with the figure more than anything, I've struggled with the feet and the elbow!

I'm working on this using Painter IX and an Intuos3 A5

Hi Rob

Nice concept, and I like the pose, it's ambiguously dynamic - she's reacting to something, but what?

You are right, the figure is a bit off - I think you need to find yourself a few reference photos to work from; here is an excellent resourse, just work your way through the archived photosets and I'm sure you'll find something that will help: http://characterdesigns.com/index.php?sitepage=photosets

cheers for the comments, I've made some further adjustments, have made the arm smaller as it looked too large and I've also redrawn the lower parts of the legs & feet

Just thought I'd post an update as I've now started laying down some colour. The lighting isn't right yet, I'm just getting some basic colouring in first :)
