I looked it up multiple times and was never able to find out much more information than the SIGGRAPH paper that was released on Grove (which was just a session, from what I gather).

I know it's based on procedural generation of curves for the final geometry, but no idea what the mathematical basis is for it. L-Systems is something they looked into but it didn't have an organic enough feeling, hence the creation of Grove.

Anyone with any information ... please feel free to post up. I'm getting into some procedural stuff and would love to learn/know more about the Grove system and what it's based on. Heck, it would be a cool team effort if we could figure out generally how it works, because I'm not a fan of using L-Systems, generally speaking.
